**DO NOT USE THIS PLACE !!! **READ BELLOW ---** *Please note* This trailer had just finished delivering a load minutes ago it was dropped to NC Reefer yard for a "PM SERVICE ONLY" and everything was functioning 100%. A RC rep offered a visual inspection to check the unit conditions to which we agreed. They came out with a $4,280.00 estimate. which we obviously declined. We picked up the trailer the next morning and turned on the unit to pick up a load the same day. The unit was on for Nearly 2 hours when the driver noticed that the Temperature Apex Transicold control System would not dropped under 49 degrees Fahrenheit. The driver notified us and we immediately went to check the unit ourselves as we have had a similar experience with another shop in NJ. We put a thermostat inside the trailer and set the Temperature at -10 degrees Fahrenheits closed the doors and waited for 30 min. To our surprise the temperature inside the trailer had dropped to -10 but the Apex Transicold control System was showing 49 degrees. - "IT HAS CLEARLY BEEN MANIPULATED"- This is the second time this happens to us. and it seems to be a very common dishonest practice in the refrigeration industry. They fix o service a unit but then break another thing or set up a unit so it looks it's broken. In conclusion we have sent the unit for a thorough inspection at the carrier dealership. And We are going to do our best to expose this dishonest business practices. Seriously !!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS !!!! TAKE YOUR CARRIER OR THERMOKING UNIT DIRECTLY TO THE DEALERSHIP!!! DONT TAKE CHANCES.
