        I had a bad experience on Saturday, Oct. 9th, it was our (bf and I) first time visiting La Placita from out of state (Illinois, plus Im Puerto Rican and proud about it). Food was ok not that great, just that the mofongo tasted more like garlic than plantain. Everything was ok until we were going to pay, we placed the money plus two quarters so we can receive exactly $40 as change, but the waitress told us that they will round up the bill, we were like ok, so we gave her the extra $1 and when she came with the change that we counted it we were missing $2, the thing is that the tip was already included in the bill but she decided to stay with the extra $2. Additional, that we were going to take pictures in the restaurant and people were staring at us.
