    BEWARE. Run Away!!! I feel bad for the employees who work here as they have a Horrible Person as a Boss. This lady is Nasty Unprofessional and committing Fraud!!! She puts up your rent without telling you anything. Legally she can not do that without providing valid documentation of common area expense increase. She has no idea how to manage these warehouses. She is unethical and does whatever she wants. Beware!!! Do Not Rent HERE!!!

    If I could write this Review with 0 Rating I would. I can not begin to write how Horrible Elsa Askowitz is. This is the person in charge at Canal Management. She is unprofessional and VILE. The staff fears her so don’t expect them to help you if she says otherwise as She will Fire them on the spot. They are also victims themselves of her nasty verbal treatment and unprofessional work. This WOMAN should not be in Charge she has no idea what it is to run a management company. I warn you DO NOT RENT HERE. I guarantee you that you will regret it. Elsa steals, lies and cheats from hard working class people. She has been getting away with this and thinks she can do whatever she wants. She is practicing and enforcing illegal management protocols. I had a verbal conversation with her that lead me to see her unethical behavior. Due to our verbal conversation/disagreement she immediately enforced a lease termination. We had to hire a attorney to respond to her illegal termination notice. Then she decided to increased the monthly rent when we still had 3 months left on our 12 month lease term agreement. She enforced this rent increase by increasing the common ground area maintenance by $500.00 monthly. This is exactly what she does to all the tenants periodically. Which is Illegal to do. Legally as a tenant you are entitled to review the management budget showing valid reason for common ground increases that would affect your monthly rent. When the Attorney hired responded to both these matters they were ignored by Elsa. She then instructed the employees in the office that they could not talk to us or accept rent payments here forward. Although we continued to pay Rent monthly and it was sent via certified mail with signature. She then decided not to deposit the monthly rent checks trying to make it seem like the rent was not being paid. Her evil motives and goal was to enforce a eviction on us. Thankfully we had and have a attorney that has guided us and although we have moved out we are still dealing with this aftermath that she has maliciously caused . I cannot emphasize how Bad of a person this Woman is!!! BEWARE!!! Do NOT RENT here!!!
