Went to get a new mattress for my 68 year old mom so she could feel more comfortable in her bed and Z Mattress is absolute garbage.I got their 30 minutes ago and was very disappointed on how terrible the costumer service was wtf is that all about.Also the store is so unorganized no wonder a lot of them have closed because the Z Mattress in Kendall by my house closed and turned into a Sears Home Appliance Showroom.Staff is totally as dumb as Osama Bin Laden and beware folks don't go here

We purchased a mattress from this company at the Home Design and Remodeling Show in Miami, FL. They told us we were getting a Kingsdown mattress and they delivered an Orion mattress, floor model. Not only was it the wrong mattress, it was too soft for my back and it was not what we ordered! We called the store and asked them to exchange the mattress. They told us we had 90 days to return the mattress for another one. In less than 30 days, we arrived with the mattress and they told us that we were not supposed to bring the mattress back to the store but to the warehouse which was already closed. After going back and forth with the sale's associate, we left with the agreement that the associate would call us back after she spoke with the owner of the store about the exchange. We never received the call. We ended up calling to the store several times and finally receiving the approval to exchange the mattress and pay the difference for a better mattress. We chose our mattress and paid the difference. We were told that it would be delivered within 2 weeks, it has been almost 2 months and NO MATTRESS!! I have driven to this store several times complaining about not receiving what we paid for. Every time I go, I get the same story, "we are sorry but we are having issues with delivery and your mattress has not come in yet. Next week. Next week." 2 weeks ago I called and the phone was disconnected! UNBELIEVABLE! At one point the associate felt so bad that she told us to come down and pick another mattress (an upgraded one) and they would eat the difference in cost so that we had a mattress coming out the next day. A LIE! I drove there, picked another mattress and the associate called the warehouse only to turn around and tell me that they only had two of that type in which one was sold that morning and one had a stain on it and she couldn't provide it to me! What a waste of time. Up until now, we have been patient and understanding. We have not caused a scene nor have we made any threats. But today was the end of the rope -- they are avoiding our calls from our cell and home number and only answered when I called from a different number. After she figured out who I was, she hung up the phone! I am now stuck without a mattress, still not sleeping and having back problems, and out the extra money we paid for a better mattress! Needless to say, this fight is not over and this is a terrible company!

Had a very positive experience here, because I am learning how to handle Miami people. With the ladies? Flirt and be a cassanova. WIth the men, be patient and speak slowly. The accents are thick. The mentality is different than you may be used to. Just be charming and polite. More important, be thorough. Persistent. If you have any problems, just politely ask if you can work the matter out with Orlando. He is a caucasian fellow and the regional manager. He will jump through hoops to help you fix the problem. Doesn't matter what it is.After a terrible experience at another branch, but transitioned here and all went well. Highly recommend, and remember - Orlando is always there to assist if something goes wrong. Which it might. After all, its Miami ...

If you want ANY sort of customer service do NOT buy your mattress set here. I purchased a mattress set for my 86 year old parents. I had to sigh paperwork stating that I knew what the height of the mattress would be and no exchange would be allowed. I went to my parents to make sure the height would be appropriate for my very frail mother. When the mattress set was delivered, it was higher than what they promised. Even though the customer has to abide by the height rules, Z Mattress does not. They can give you any height and they will not correct the issue. I have contacted the BBB as well and they still don't respond. I guess they would rather deal with a lawsuit when my mother falls out of this bed than do the right thing and send the mattress set at the height it is supposed to be. This may not normally be that big of a deal, but to someone who is 86 years old, legally blind with arthritis, it is a HUGE deal. Z Mattress could care less. They are more than willing to make the deal and will say anything, but you're on your own if you need any service after you've handed over your money. I have now issued a chargeback with my credit card company. This is a safety issue, not a comfort issue. Steer clear of this place.
