Restaurant is busy and staff are kind, but the service was poor relative to the price of the food. For paying over 300 dollars per person, I should not have to ask for water refills, pour my own wine. Food was what you would expect from this kind of establishment unfortunately service was lacking.

3.5 stars- Good but not great experience, & for the cost I had too high expectations. If i could redo I probably wouldve booked a restaurant that had more character in terms of customer service. My husband got the ribe eye steak with the dirty rice; steak was great, dirty rice was flavorful. Our waiter Johnathon was knowledgeable & friendly; his assistant server for his section was absolutely phenomenal we did not get his name but a young latino gentleman with a man bun-much kudos to his service for making it a positive experience for us. We were sat in a cramped aisle way by the kitchen; when making the reservation days in advance i asked for a romantic space and told them we were celebrating our honeymoon we drove from 2 hours away just for this reservation. Im sure others have noted this small table before because it is less than ideal and i much rather wouldve been sat/waited for any other table; music and room is loud and being in the aisle way always loud conversations and not very private when your paying $100+ per person. Im vegetarian & got the mushroom mufueielle* it was very flavorful & yummy (we got the kale and goat cheese salad which was good and the beignets for dessert along with cocktails) our bill ended up being close to $300 which was expected for us. A couple of the timepoints throughout the night we felt forgotten/undervalued, i dont think it was intentional because our server got super busy with larger/needy tables in his section, but we certainly wouldve appreciated more one on one time with our waiter as this was our first time & i had plenty of questions. A recommendation would be to have servers section smaller so they can provide more time to enhance the experience. As some of the other reviews have noted I understand your paying for the fabulous decor, location, food but the dining experience could be improved this is a newer restaurant & probably still working things out; i would be open to coming back later down the road but not for any type of special evening as there are many other great restaurants in miami that give you great food & memorable dining experience. Vegetarian options: I had the mushroom miffulielle* I believe it was called which was great and the server recommended.

Came to Dirty French on a date with my boyfriend. For a Tuesday night the restaurant had great vibes, it had a fun ambiance and the design is beautiful. The service was great, our first server (who wasnt our waiter), Julio, was attentive, friendly and professional. We were going to order wine, however, they dont offer any selection of Italian wines which is what we felt like that night, so instead we opted for the cocktails which were delicious, eclectic and fun. Next we ordered food, I must say it was odd that we had to order everything at once, that kind of threw me off. The carpaccio was very fresh and unique, it wasnt your typical take on a carpaccio which we liked, loved the chives and eggplants. Would definitely recommend the carpaccio. Next, we ordered the lobster raviolis which we very good as well. The star of the show was the prime rib, it was spectacular! The herb crust was on point, the meat was juicy, cooked to perfection and the horseradish was amazing. Dont go to Dirty French and pass up on the prime rib, its one of the best in the city! Overall, we really enjoyed Dirty French, great service, fresh food and a fun time!

The look & feel of the place is straight out of a 70s Vegas mob movie, from the furnishings to the upholstery, finishes on the walls, lighting and playlist. The music selection is 70s disco and 80s yacht rock and probably my favorite thing about the place other than the food. Our waiter was Angel Prado @angel_ontour by far one of the best waiters weve ever had at any establishment, well schooled on every dish and we did go with all his recommendations which turned out better than we could have ever expected, please do yourselves a favor and ask to be seated in his section when you visit. The food was fantastic, above and beyond what we expected from a well hyped up restaurant that more times than not end up being all hype and disappointing but not the case at Dirty French. We ordered every dish to share heres our list - the Duck (Main), Filet Mignon (Main), Lobster Ravioli (Appetizer), Calamari (Appetizer), Brussel sprouts (Side), Mashed potatoes (Side). The Lobster Ravioli was out of this world. Dinner started with complimentary garlic flat bread, which was not too garlicky at all so you can still speak with people afterwards and we ended dinner with the fried dough with powdered sugar and caramel sauce with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, along with a candle and the staff even sang Happy Birthday. 5 out 5 Stars easily top 3 restaurant in Miami.
