On June 3rd I visited the family dollar located at 11269 SW 152 St. This was by far the worse customer service that I have ever experienced. I proceeded to purchase a pair of glove which was advertised for $2.00. The clerk tallied the price for $3.11 When I showed her the price of the item she became very irate. She simply refused to honor the advertised price and begin to ring the item up for $3.11. I refused to pay for the item. The clerk was ignorant to the advertised price of $2.00 for the gloves. "The Federal trade regulations says, advertising must be truthful and not misleading". This particular clerk refused to honor the advertied price or provide good customer service skills. She pushed my money towards me and begin to help the next customer in line. Opposed to reporting this incident to the BBB. I have decided to never purchase anything from this store, and I will most certainly discourage anyone I know not to purchase anything from this store. On a brighter note. I went to another Family dollar store located at 9590 SW 160 St. The clerk at this particular store had the very same items in stock listed for the same price of $2.00. When she totaled the price of the gloves they also came up to $3.11. We did a price check on that item which showed $2.00. She smiled and immediately told me she will honor the price of $2.00. Great customer service skills.
