STEALS FROM CLIENTS PLEASE READ MY REVIEW AS WELL AS THE MANY OTHERS BELOW. Overcharged me by $74 dollars for a cavity filling. Claimed that I asked the dentist for a liquid to decrease sensitivity halfway through a filling - which anyone knows you can't speak during. Fraudulent business. Please read my review and the many others claiming that this company steals money from clients.

Absolutely worst customer service ever. Got there 15 minutes before my appointment which I had made for two months in advance and was the only one in the office. 20 minutes late a gentleman comes in and says he made his appointment yesterday and was called in before me. Another 20 minutes pass (40 minutes already waiting) a woman walks in and was called for her cleaning almost immediately. Another 15 minutes I was finally called in, I’m sitting in the dental chair for about 20 minutes and nobody has come into my room yet. I have been coming to this dentist office for about 10 years and I cannot believe the amount of little respect they showed. Got there 15 minutes before my appointment and still had to wait an hour and a half without getting service. Absolutely ridiculous.

I've waited a long time to write this review. I normally don't leave reviews, but I wanted to give others a heads up. First complaint: I am to blame for this one because I didn't do my research. So I'm writing this here to warn others. I paid $3,600 for phase ONE of my son's orthodontal treatment. I was also quoted about $5,000 for phase 2. My mistake was not shopping around before I agreed to start treatment for phase 1. Now that I've shopped around, let me tell you that there are other places that do both phase 1 and 2 for $3,600. And I mean reputable places. Shop around before you agree to anything with them! Second complaint: My husband had a crown down here. My husband did everything that was recommended in regards to the cleaning before having this crown put on. Six-8 months after putting on the crown, it fell off. He went back and they put the crown back on, at no cost to us. Six months after that, the crown fell off again. This time we weren't able to save the crown. He went to the office to see what they can do for him cost wise. Because obviously this is faulty work, and we've already paid a hefty amount for the crown. I'm not sure what transpired with my husband and the office because he stormed out of there upset, and with no solution. A few minutes later the office manager called me and tried to explain what they can offer. A new crown would cost $1800 (or somewhere in that area), and they are willing to offer us $250 off. I tried to explain that they should be covering the entire cost, even though we don't have the crown, because it's not normal for a crown to fall off twice in under 2 years. So us having to replace the crown is because of their faulty work and we shouldn't be responsible for not being able to save the crown. The office manager tried to say that a crown is not a for sure thing and lots of things can contribute to it falling off, etc, so they can't be responsible. We've since consulted two other dentist and both have stated that there is no reasonable explanation why the crown has fallen off twice in under two years. None! If the tooth wasn't a good candidate for a crown, they should have told us that prior to us spending all that money for a crown. We've also had both dentist tell us that Altima's pricing is very high. Bottom line - look elsewhere. Save yourself time and money.

Recently I left a review on how confusing the billing was. It is still very confusing. The previous time that I went for my treatment the estimate was increased by almost $200 with no clear explanation and the person who helped me was Miss Laoz, I was very upset but since the treatment already started I decided to go with it and accepted the increase. Today I went for my treatment and again the price was increased by $175. But this time Miss Laoz went above and beyond to solve my problem. She contacted her Corporate office to see why my estimate was increased twice already. To make a story short with Miss Laoz help her Corporate office honored the original estimate given to me. Thank you Miss K. Laoz ! By the way, they removed a bridge that was in a very bad condition and had no swollen face at all after the removal, thanks to Dr. Borges I am aware that they are a little overpriced but It is worth it when the results are great.
