UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP & THEY SUCK BAllS! I USED to love Yoko's. But this is not the same Yoko's anymore. It is run by new owners/management and while the decor has gotten an upgrade; everything else has gotten a downgrade. I attempted to order take away, but no one picked up the phone despite calling at least a dozen times. Slightly bothered, I finally walked over to place my order. I walked in and was not greeted. I had to go over near the kitchen door where the manager was standing with two new servers who were obviously weeded and not properly trained. At first I thought the manager didn't even speak English. He had one of the poorly trained servers (granted, it was her first day) take my order and he told me to come back in 25 minutes. When I came back 30 minutes later, he told me there was a problem with my order and he could not make my requested rolls. I had ordered two tuna tar tar rolls and two salmon tar tar rolls which Yoko's used to happily do for me even though they weren't on the menu. I mean really, what decent sushi couldn't make these rolls? I'm sure they could have been made. At this point I cancelled my order. I shared my experience with the manager and explained how I used to be a frequent and happy customer, but was very dissatisfied with how the evening had unfolded. I don't think he had the skills necessary to properly deal with an unhappy customer and didn't seem to mind to see an unhappy customer walk out of the establishment. I won't be going back and am very sad to see the real Yoko's gone.

This restaurant has the best Salmon Miso Soup I have had. The Fried Ice cream is dreamy and comes in various flavors including my personal favorite, Green Tea. The service is wonderful, they even green you with Japanese greetings. The servers are very attentive and kind. The rest of the menu is very delicious. Wonderful place to visit! We have been many many times.
