New patients bewareI went in because I was looking to establish myself at a new practice. I requested a routine cleaning and exam, however, Dr. Exposito claimed I needed a deep cleaning which would not be covered by my insurance and would cost nearly $500 out of pocket. I appealed the treatment plan to my insurance, and they reiterated a deep cleaning was not medically necessary for me based on my X-rays. Nevertheless, Dr. Exposito refused to give me a routine cleaning and then the practice proceeded to bill my insurance anyway for the treatment plan despite them never actually doing any work on my teeth. Frustrated, I went to a brand new dentist for a second opinion. He took one look at my mouth and said there was no reason whatsoever for a deep cleaning. Its just a tactic dentists use on new patients to try and extract more money.

I've been coming to Miami Beach for years and the staff is always so kind. I literally look forward to our conversations, and she takes such good care of me. The cleaning was amazing, the hygiene takes such good care of my gums and teeth.Keep up the good work dental associates!
