I got there late in the day, and they were all out of most of the stuff everyone goes there for in the first place. So I got the chowder, and and a BLT. The chowder was exceptional. Pricy, but good chowder typically is. But its not theirs, they get it from someone else. The BLT was mediocre at best. Only allowed one small slice of tomato for the whole sandwich. Wow, I guess that's inflation for you. Service was a little slow, but she was courteous - just over taxed. The thing I really didn't appreciate is when my menu price does not match what she charged me. Every item was up charged. Not a huge difference, but I expect to pay what the menu says, I think that's a fair expectation. Then, I got up charged for using my credit card. Nobody pointed that out, and I had plenty of cash on me. I don't agree with doing that to your customers, so I'll take tonight's dinner across the street and wont be back.

First time at this establishment was honestly a little surprised at the quality of food in this place. I wasn't expecting much due to it being a side of the road bar in the middle of nowhere. Much to my surprise this place was amazing. Awesome food awesome service and a down home kinda feel. Will definitely be frequenting this place.
