The good news? Consistently good veal dishes and garlic knots. The bad news? It has been sold this week and a sushi joint is going to replace it. When? No idea.

My wife and I live in Melbourne by Eau Gallie and were looking for a good authentic Italian eatery nearby and stumbled on this hidden gem. La Piazza Restaurant was delightful, nice ambiance, friendly staff, and tasty dishes. We started with a bottle of wine and their garlic knots, then came the entrees; Zuppa de Pesce (clams, mussels, calamari, and shrimp over linguini) w/ garlic, butter and white sauce for me and Eggplant Parmigiana for my wife. Il cibo era delizioso !!!

The prices are not bad. We had to wait a considerable amount of time for the food and when we arrived there was no one there. Food was good but not great. The place is clean but it also had a strange odor. We quite couldn't identified what or where.

The food is out of this world. Veal Marsala is incredible.
