Michael Halprin the owner of CPRx no longer holds ANY NURSING NOR MEDICAL LICENSES as he has been under indictment and convicted of running pill mill operations since 2003. The most recent conviction coming in Nevada for Operating A Drug Facility and Illegal sale of Schedule III Benzodiazepines and Opiods. Mr. Halprin was first arrested in Broward County in 2003 for conspiracy to sell oxycodone and Xanax after meeting a female “patient” after hours at his “Clinic” and trading her Oxycodone & Xanax for Marijuana (and something else, not drugs :(Mr. Halprin was recently arrested again on 6/20/2019 for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and with distribution of Class III Opioids, distribution of Valium, a Schedule III controlled substance & maintaining a drug-involved premises. He only took the job because he was desperate for the money. His facility in FL, amazingly still open is known as “Retox” not “detox” in the recovery community. His is the only licensed facility in the state that does not accept insurance, CASH ONLY! Why? Because no insurer will pay an 83 year old Dr. working beyond the scope of his medical knowledge and degree along with an expelled formerly licensed Nurse Practitioner (Mr. Halprin). Upon his first arrest Broward County Sherrifs found business cards and an American Express Card stating “Michael Halprin M.D.” and “Dr. Michael Halprin” Both untrue. Mr. Halprin does not nor has never held an M.D. or D.O. Classic narcissistic personality disorder traits. (Preoccupation with power, entitled, Interpersonally exploitative for their own gain. Arrogant. Must be admired).This is the M.O. of the owner & multiple drug felon, Michael Halprin. Ive been going to Advanced Medical for over a year, on the (very high) recommendation of someone whos been seeing them for many years. I deal with severe chronic pain from a damaged sciatic nerve and have had 6 discs fused in my body, total. I love this practice! Theyre super thorough and will help with anything you ask they are sincere in their efforts to help you with feeling better. Dr Stein is very knowledgeable about different things. The office staff is also consistently wonderful, which, Id think would be difficult! Im grateful to them for their excellent standard of care.

I would recommend this place to those who need help and can't do it by themselves. Advanced medical is The Doctors and the staff are always good and respectful. Doctor's listen to you and really care about you . I've been coming to this place for about a year for my chronic pain and I have no complains about anything. I would give the more stars if there were more. Keep up the good work A.M !
