This company is a scam. BE AWARE! My boyfriend and I were in the process to buy a house with LGI in Lake Jackson Ridge community (Groveland,Florida) through sales agent Ryan Justice. When we were going to sign the first contract and give the deposit sadly my boyfriend got furloughed from work. We were going to do an USDA loan and Ryan said that we qualify and everything. Since my boyfriend lost his job he told us to go with an FHA loan just to save the house “because they’re selling to fast” and when he got back to work we were going to be able to change to USDA. My boyfriend got his job a week after and we were told there was no way for us to do USDA only FHA and we had to give them 3.5% down when we told Ryan from the beginning we were not going to do FHA loan because we wanted the house but we wanted to have money in our pockets after the purchase to buy the washer and dryer that this houses don’t come with. When I told them I wanted to cancel they told me I was not going to get my money back since we got approved for FHA but the promise from Ryan was that we were going to switch and he knew this from the beginning. They just told me no and that I lost my money because I canceled. I spoke with a realtor to get some help, they didn’t want to work with her either and they told me to get a credit card at Home Depot to get my dryer and washer, what kind of help is that? And about my money the manager Andrew told my realtor “there are no proof or recording about what Ryan said to them” really?! I have text messages about it and I need my $1,000 back! In this very uncertain times with covid 19 getting ripped off with $1,000 BECAUSE THEIR AGENTS LIE! Is not a good. Ryan justice literally told me on the phone “oh well, good luck next time” this is unacceptable and a scam, I trusted this sales agent with my money and now I don’t have the house neither my money. I NEED MY REFUND!

Realtors and Buyers be very mindful when dealing with this builder at Lake Jackson Ridge. They told my client that they didn't need a Realtor when they told them that they had one but couldn't accompany them to the grand opening. I called the Sales Manager to let him know that was very unprofessional on their agents part. In the beginning of the conversation he wasn't aware of whom or what I was referring to. By the end of the conversation (which was only 7.5 mins) he had spoken to my clients and they never said they had a Realtor. I explained that he nor the other agents could tell me what MY client needed as I had been working with them for months and by cutting me out they are risking the rewards benefits my client was entitled to by utilizing me as their Realtor. Sale Manager in so many words said oh well better luck next time. I left him know that the reassurance of their unprofessionalism just solidified that there will not be a next time. I have worked with many builders in my career and they DON'T burn the Realtors like that. Again buyers and Realtors, make sure you are looking out for yours/your clients best interest because this builder is not.
