    I just called to schedule a new patient appointment. I spoke to Shannon in the corporate office (Altamonte Springs). It's safe to say that she has a problem with stay at home moms and my current insurance coverage. She let me know that I should really get a job and also gave me some recommendations on a gas station that will be hiring soon. For some reason, she was shocked to find out that I homeschool my children, and if you're wondering why any of this would come up while scheduling an appointment, well, I was just as confused. When it came time to take down the appointment information, though, thankfully, she spoke very slowly and made sure to let me know I needed to write this down before she told me each piece of information as if I'm a child or maybe just too "uneducated" to understand. Never in my life have I felt so small just trying to schedule an appointment.

    I had surgery performed by Dr. Jing Gill on June 21st of this year. I was told by office admission person, my payment would be expected to be paid in full on day of surgery, due to my deductible not being met with Ambetter. I agreed, the day of my surgery I paid the full amount that I was given. Now their office keeps sending me emails and letters for additional costs that they claim is due. I have tried numerous times to get an answer, calling and emailing to no avail; just speak to someone that can explain what transpired, why I was being charged more. Finally, after three weeks, I got a call back on Monday, the billing manager could not explain why, or assist me in any way; she only said, "I've known this office person for 14 years, I don't believe she would do that." The only remedy she gave was for me to call my insurance company, which is not applicable i explained, since my agreement was with their office. Her refusal to assist in any other way was not acceptable or sufficient in resolving matter. To top it off, she tried to make me feel like she was the victim, no interest in helping. I ended up treating the wound myself for over two months, I only wanted to understand the mistake; how this happened? Unfortunately, this seems to be a regular tactic used to collect more money from their patients, I got an email today, they are adding $50 for a late fee; no one ever called me back, or attempted to make any concession. I thought it may be beneficial for others to know how they operate...

    I have been in the Henderson Nevada office for several times. They are a mill and expert churners of co-pays. I have never been seen on time. Up to an hour late. The office manager Elena is a surly non-professional and does nothing to promote good will when asked about suspect billing issues, late scheduling, and co-pay churning. On multiple occasion I met with Dr Horowitz PC . I had prepaid the co-pay for him on each session. An Indian Dr peeks in asks about the patient status and leaves with in 30 seconds. I was billed for another co-pay after the fact 3 different times! I was having stitches removed and Dr Horowitz came in at the end of the removal by a nurse. He said everything ok? and I got a bill for another co-pay for that 15 seconds intervention. The appointment scheduler says listen to this recording about covid. Masks are required. Went in today with a mask. No one else had one. Office personnel said they have not a clue about any such recording. I went in this time because I have a growth at the previous surgical site that they assured me was 100% clear.

    I have been a patient with the office in Palm Harbor for over 20 years. Today when i went in before my appointment time... I had to wait over 30 minutes when a rep just walks in and asks for Scott Freeman PA.. they said go right in... i asked the receptionist certainly i am not going to have to wait till after he sees the rep who just walked in... she said no.. then i was directed to a consulting room where i waited and waiting.. i asked the nurse hopefully he is not talking to the rep, she said no the rep left... and i wait some more before i got up to see what was going on, and sure enough i was lied to a second time.. because there was Scott Freeman speaking to the rep, he could care less that i was waiting and waiting.. Scott tell me he doesn't know what to say... that was it for me. I had b been a patient there for over 20 years, i would never set foot in there ever again.. Waiting is bad enough, being lied to was just too much...
