Children’s Medical Center - Lutz

My 4 year old was complaining of UTI pain, took her in, dr said every symptom was uti (she's had these before) and that she would treat with cefdinir, I asked she be put on amoxicillin instead as she reacts bad to that. When she came back in she said "I'm actually not going to prescribe anything now, sometimes kids just say that". So now I'm having to take her somewhere else to be treated, the week of Christmas mind you. Im very upset, and its VERY hard to get an appt with NPCMC anyways. I would go elsewhere.

Dr. Booth and Dr. Farooqi take their time going over the diagnostic treatment clearly and always ask if we have any questions for them. The staffs always been friendly and helpful over the phone. We were called promptly upon arrival. I highly recommend this clinic, you are in a great care.

We love all of the doctors at NPCMC and have been going to the practice for 11 years! Everyone is so helpful and friendly. We love Dr. Booth!

Amazing care, Dr Booth and the staff are outstanding. She listens to any concerns and supports the parents. Wait time is minimal and staff is always polite and remembers us! Dr Booth is knowledgeable and supportive with breastfeeding, intact care (so hard to find in this area) and attachment parenting practices while still supporting the science based practices such as vaccines and following AAP/WHO guidelines. So glad we found this doctor after issues with other providers. Also want to mention how great the back office staff like billing and appointments are; they are always friendly and will work with you instead of against you. Happy to bring all three of our kiddos here.

I love this practice and location. In my opinion, CMC Lutz is everything a doctor’s office should be: responsive, convenient, caring, and minimally frustrating. We have been going to this location for around 2 years. In this time, we have always been able to get an appointment, the nurse line calls back in a timely manner, and our concerns are always taken seriously. The office staff is very friendly and always polite. We have never had a long wait time, and if we have a concern they have been able to work us in. Dr. Booth is fantastic! She always takes time to listen, is kind, and is very detailed. One of the most impressive things about her is her follow-through. She actually calls back when she says she will. Dr. Booth provides print-outs for reference which can be convenient and helpful with little ones and has given us several recommendations for books. The sleep training book she recommended was an interesting read and helped us get our 9 month old sleeping through the night in 3 days with minimal tears. At first, we were skeptical of the location which is in a strip mall. However, the inside is nicely done and always clean. We have also never had any billing issues. The patient portal isn’t the most user friendly and sometimes I have had difficulty with curbside check-in using text during COVID19. However, these are minor issues. I would recommend Children’s Medical Center Lutz and Dr. Booth to anyone looking for a pediatrician.
