FUNYET Charters

I contacted John on short notice about getting a family member out fishing before she moved away from the Keys. I told him she only had one request. She wanted the experience of catching a BIG fish ! John put her on a 40lb amber jack, among other things ! It was a fantastic day all the way around ! Thank you John, so much, for making such a memorable day for all of us !

Captain took us out on short notice in some fairly choppy weather and put us on more fish than we've ever caught in our lives! Great time, great captain and tons of fish!

Wedding day. Birth of children. Fishing with FUN YET Charters. Yesterday was one of the most memorable days of my life. Captain John put us on some fish!! From arriving promptly to the dock right in front of the place we were staying, to letting us choose whether we wanted to try inland or reef fishing, to offering tips and advice about how to land the fish (without it coming off as “man-splaining”), everything was flawlessly executed and delivered beyond our expectations. We caught mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, grouper (not in season), king mackerel, and even some sharks! To top it off, John cleaned the fish for us, and even joined us at a local restaurant (his girlfriend came too!) where they cooked the fish. It turned into a fun afternoon and now we have new friends who live in The Keys. A perfect experience worth every penny. Thank you FUN YET charters!

Captain John knows exactly what he is doing and how to give a great fishing experience. He filleted all out fish and recommended us to a nice local restaurant that cooked our catch! We had a great time on the water and I will definitely be coming back.
