Power Tech Mobile Generators

Replaced an old CD8k with a new one in April 2019 and in July 2020 the water pump went out while I was on the road. Got the generator out of my truck 9/15/20 and was told by sales it was covered under warranty. I was told by service it's not covered under warranty. Called parts about ordering a new water pump and left 2 messages and no return call back. Power Tech's customer service sux. I spent a half day going to tractor shops and never could find one but one shop gave me some part numbers that they thought might be it. Came home, Googled one part number and found the water pump on Amazon for $65.00 shipped and Power Tech wanted $250.00 per there website. When the time comes to replace this generator, I'll be switching to a Onan.

Jeff Jones in service and Trish in parts have been very helpful in providing a new voltage regulator for my Powertech generator in a 1991 BlueBird Wanderlodge Motorhome. Jeff performed a miraculous task of leading me through major rewiring of this old generator with great patience - Jeff in Leesburg, Florida and me in Alamogordo, NM. Friday, March 6th I was able run the generator outside the coach and adjust the voltage to exactly 121Volts AC with Jeff's directions. It now performs perfectly like new with 7,900 hours on the meter! Now, Jeff has the upcoming challenge of leading me through changing out the rear bearing - a task we understand should add many more thousands of hours of reliable generator performance. Thanks again, Joe W. (Bill) Allen (New Mexico). With magnificent help from his hospital bed, Jeff Jones enabled me to complete replacement of rear bearing, additional rewiring, 4 relays and a solenoid! Nowhere have I ever experienced such dedication to customer service before. Words can not begin to express my appreation. Get well soon, Jeff!! We had a older Powertech generator with a lot of hours on it that quit making power. Jeff helped me on a Sunday diagnose the problem, and we decided to purchase a new unit. We are in California and Nico had it to us in 3 days. Unfortunately when it arrived it was damaged in transit. When I called Nico he handled everything, the claim with the freight company, and shipping us the replacement parts at no cost to fix the damaged pieces. I would highly recommend these guys.

I own 3 of the 12KW and just bought an 8 KW! Great company and wonderful people to deal with. The equipment is top notch with great performance. I will never have any other kind. Thank you for such great support thru all the years.
