I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Virtual Dementia Tour at The Club at Haines City organized by Senior Helpers Georgiana and Bethanye Sullivan from Cornerstone Hospice. Their professionalism and warmth made the entire experience truly exceptional. Georgiana's expertise and sweetness were evident throughout the tour. She guided us with patience and understanding, ensuring that every participant felt comfortable and informed. Bethanye's assistance was invaluable, as she went above and beyond to help everyone prepare for the session. Together, they formed an incredible team, seamlessly orchestrating an eye-opening experience for both staff and family members. The Virtual Dementia Tour was not only educational but also deeply impactful, offering profound insights into the challenges faced by individuals with dementia. We cannot express how grateful we are to Senior Helpers. My mom always lived at home and after a broken hip at 90 years young, she was in a rehabilitation facility. She started to decline quickly, and my siblings and I wanted to bring her home so she could spend her remaining days at home. Thanks to Senior Helpers and Hospice we were able to do just that. Georgina met with my brother and I to determine what our needs were and ensured we could get my mom home the next day. The Senior Helper, Michelin who was my mom's main caregiver, was so kind and gentle with my mom. She treated my mom just like we would with compassion, gentleness and ensuring all her needs were met. With Senior Helper's assistance we were able to spend quality time with my mom in her own home. My family and I will be forever grateful to Senior Helpers and Michelin for allowing this time with our beautiful mom. Thank you, thank you!
