AVS Electronics

Had a TV repaired by Oriel. Spent $200+ and brought it home. It worked for about a minute, got overheated and kept shutting off so I called the owner of AVS Electronics. He came out and said that there was a manufacturer issue where no cooling fans were installed to the TV. He then knocked over my TV (I assume on accident) and it fell over and completely broke. He then then tells me to sell it on Ebay for parts!! I did not get my $ back for the service and he also broke a $1500 LCD TV and the best he could do is tell me to sell the parts on Ebay!?! Thanks, but no thanks.

Gave Orial my $1,200.00 Sony video cam for loading mechanism repair. He kept it for over a year telling me each time I asked for it back because I didn't want him losing it or the case, manual, charger and adapters. Reassured me each time that it wouldn't happen and he was very close to getting the part needed. Went out of town for 3 months and came back to a closed store with no info left for customers. Tracked him down with help from the Jamaican Restaurant owner next door and finally had to go to his house at 5563 Superior Drive. He had lost my camera (idiot) and gave me a replacement minus my case, manual and an adapter. The replacement had a cassette in it belonging to someone else with inappropriate video of a little girl sleeping and the camera had the same problems mine had. Will probably be seeing him in court. Paid $185 cash for this mess.
