One man's dump is another man's treasure. Bobby Watts has been serving the Lakeland area car enthusiasts for over 40 years. I bought several things from him back in the mid 80's, he left a positive impression on me. Time has passed, the internet has come and like everyone else I forgot about Bobby and have been dealing with these big store internet speed shops in other parts of the country, a miracle, with just a few clicks of my mouse, some credit card info and puff, a few days later it is at my door step. I recently restored an old muscle car and I am trying to keep it all original, fighting the old quadrajet carb, asked everyone I thought might be able to help and I got a lot of maybes. I was on the way to another Lakeland treasure - Jimbo's, driving down Lake Parker Ave and then like a shining light I remembered about Bobby Watts Speed Shop, was he still alive and in business? What a pleasant surprise, Bobby, the Legend is still kicking, the place that time has forgot, dim lit, boxes to the ceiling and good ole honest as the day is long Bobby Watts. No fancy computers here, just a man that has more knowledge than all the internet blogs and big store tech hotlines in the world. You in a hurry? don't bother, you looking to save $3.99? stay home, but if you want to deal with a honest man who will give the fairest price that he can and you enjoy listening to a living legend stop in and buy something. He has a carb man on site that fixed my issue very quickly for a very fair price.
