Clarkes came highly recommended to us. We had our system installed in 2018. A year or so later, the evaporator needed to be replaced. For a year now our system smells like mold whenever we switch from off to heat or air or from heat to air. Our thermostat has never worked properly and has been replaced and still doesnt work properly. We got the runaround for a week trying to schedule service only to schedule and have a no call/no show situation. We really like Mr. Clarke, but feel like this system is affecting our health now and no one seems to think its a priority. Time to find a new company, unfortunately.

We have used Clarke's Custom Air for the whole time since we purchased this home which is 28 years. They always show on time and complete the work in a timely manner with total attention to detail. I would recommend them for your total AC needs from repair to purchasing and complete install. Thank you Clarke's Custom Air.

No employer, unless family owned, would tolerate the rude interactions of the customer service rep in this office. At first we assumed she was the office manager, but believe me she does NOT act like one. This woman is very rudely making decisions about the jobs they will or will not do and I am sure this is costing the company a great deal of money. She will NOT return calls and if you are lucky enough to get her on the line she starts yelling, ranting and raving and will not give you a chance to get a word in. She makes it very clear she does not want to deal with ANYTHING that causes her a little bit of work. Please do not fall for the advertisement that they are available Monday through Sunday, 24 hours a day, because I assure you that you will not get a call back on the weekend. We placed a service call on Thursday afternoon, and she did called back Friday morning. We assumed we had made an appointment at that time, even though we were told that they were completely booked and not available until Tuesday morning...which we agreed to. We had failed to give them the gate code so attempted to call back to give them this info 3 different times....NO RETURN CALL. On Tuesday morning, the morning we were to be serviced, my husband called again to give the gate code (leaving a message on their ridiculous answering system). We then received a call from this office rep, that they were not coming and we were to get someone else. Additional info: we purchased this AC from Clarke's Custom Air as well as a 10 year service agreement through Trane and agreed to wait until Tuesday for service, to utilize the service agreement, if applicable. I am not sure I understand why this lady could not return our calls on Friday and Monday (for gate code access), but could call back the day we were due for service to tell us to get another company. This was very rude and inconsiderate on her behalf. If you enjoy turmoil, this is the company you need to deal with. But, if you do not enjoy turmoil and a very rude company rep, AVOID this company by all means. We will no longer deal with this company, and I am in awe that Trane would even use them as a representative of their company. As far as their service reps go, they were very good at their jobs, friendly, and well mannered, but also amazed at her attitude with customers. The only reason this company received a rating of 1 from us is 0 was not an option. I also intend to send a letter to Trane (Ingersoll Rand) about the interactions of this company.

Do not waste your time with this company as we did. This has to be a family owned business, as no employer would put up with the way this office is run. This lady is rude, very unprofessional, yells at customers, does not return calls, and definitely hand selects their jobs. Also, do not fall for the advertisement of available Monday through Sunday, 24 hours a day, as you will not reach anyone on the weekend or receive a return call. If 0 had been available in the rating options, that is exactly what they would have gotten. The only plus this company has is their service reps. Services: HVAC system repair, Cleaning, Thermostat repair, A/C system maintenance, Heating system maintenance, Installation, A/C system repair, Thermostat installation
