The Psychotherapists of the Palm Beaches

Worst place ever. The 5 star reviews are what convinced me to try this place out during COVID-19 times, but I had a horrible experience. Not only is it grossly overpriced (they only take CASH in Boca), the therapist that was assigned to me had more issues than me. After a few sessions, she forced me to come to her office in-person because "Everyone is going to get coronavirus eventually" and that I was just making excuses not to show up to her office. Excuse me, but I live in a multigenerational home and do not want to be the selfish one that goes out and gets everyone else in my family sick. She said that I was just making excuses and that I should get over it. This is from the same woman who wouldn't do video calls and only phone calls. I just wasted money here and wish I could get it back. Janine Rizzo made me feel worse about myself when she was supposed to be a "LMHC" and listen and figure out individualized solutions for her clients. Yet she told me to do yoga, mediate, and read a book about Hinduism when those are things I've tried before recently and clearly does not work for everyone.

This place is a scam. Do not come here. The so-called "mental health providers" at this place just want you to get mentally worse so you can keep paying them in exorbitant amounts (in cash only). They are not to be trusted, especially Janine Rizzo. I really do not know what else to say about a business when the owner claims to have a Ph.D. yet cannot spell "therapist" correctly in an email. I tried to tell them about the issues, but they completely ignored me once it was too much for them to handle.

I love my therapist Mikayla Kress! She is helping me get through so much and to think rather than to react. I enjoy my weekly session. At first I thought this was not going to help and Im going to get somebody who is going to respond. My therapist helps me find tools and techniques to use daily when I start to get emotional. Thanks to her I am becoming a better person

I just want to say Thank You!! And that I am so overly impressed and great-full for the help I received at this group! I have been contemplating therapy for months since my best friend passed away. I called on a Friday night about 9pm in a desperation and before I could change my mind a young woman answered and listened to me. Today was my second session with my therapist! Thank you! It feels good having some one to listen.
