AdventHealth Lake Placid ER

Insane how little these people care hr and a half before anyone came in when we were supposed to be getting transferred. Nurse huffed and puffed when my father was uncomfortable with the tube. It was definitely noticeable that they were annoyed. The doctor was also not the best, I completely understand healthcare workers being overwhelmed I come from a family of nurses. I’ve truly never could imagine this much lack of attention at an ER very sad.

I waited in the waiting room for over 2hrs no one else was in there. Other than that the Dr. Was really nice once I got in it didn't take long to see him and get out of there.

Took my wife to the ER and saw Dr Pigman. This man has no business being a civilian doctor in an ER. Lack of care, lack of urgency, lack of compassion, removed his mask after being in the room for one minute and I have an auto immune disorder. Unfortunately there was “no lack of” his personal experiences, personal opinions and information about university studies while my wife lay in extreme pain. He downplayed and treated my wife based on the “no lack of” information I mentioned above and not my wife’s history of back issues. We were sent home with only a prednisone prescription and instructed my wife to take ibuprofen when she’s been advised not to by her pcp. I am shocked and appalled at this and strongly recommend just going to a walk in clinic. At least they can keep their masks on.
