Basically felt swindled by their unethical business practices. We put in an offer on a property, they accepted. Contract was sent to us with incorrect numbers so we requested it be corrected and resent. Turned into a 16 day fiasco because we DARE to ask them to correct a contract. "This will qualify as a counter offer", "It is sold as is", "How can we know if buyer will get the financing", "we don't want to waste our time redoing it if they are just going to counter".... a barrage of questions and statements that were rude and had nothing to do with correcting their mistake. Ended with them telling us they retract the offer and intend to put it back on the market. When informed that it should be illegal, if not completely unethical to withdraw a contract for no actual reason they responded that it was never actually approved, that is why it was retracted. How could a contract that was sent to us to be signed, not actually be approved?! Disgusting way to do business, wasted a total of 28 days my husband and I could have spent finding our new home.
