Beautiful place to school horses, beautifully manicured and everyone was pleasant. Couldn't as for more!

I sent two horses to Oaks Equestrian Center. Along with the horses I sent medication and other accessories. I would have grain and Hay delivered. We would receive a phone call saying the horses were short of grain. That’s crazy we know how long a bag of grain last. After inquiring one staff member told my wife they mix the grain. What are you serious after confronting a senior staff member here’s her response we don’t buy junk grain. That’s not the point if I send grain it’s for my horses only. Do you know any food allergies they may have. No you don’t. My wife would request pictures of the horses which would go unanswered after several phone calls she received a face shot of one horse. My wife took a road trip to visit she was floored to see how much weight the horse had lost. You could count his ribs. A senior staff member told her I don’t understand your horse just doesn’t eat. After returning home my wife contacted another boarding facility to inquire about moving the horses the owner said to my wife let me guess your horses are at the Oaks. He continued to tell my wife he had personally picked up 6 boarders for the same reasons.Additionally we received a call saying my pony cut her lip and did I want her to get medical attention. Hell yes I do and I want you to pay for it my pony was hurt under your care on your property due to your neglect. Not willing to assume responsibility they did not get her attention. We decided to call the sheriffs department to do a wellness check. Then I was contacted by a lady from Oaks stating her attorney believes by contacting the police I was slandering her reputation. I believe ones actions define there character and reputation. I had a local Vet go examine our horses she also said it’s in there best interest to have them relocated. We immediately had them removed from the property they are now eating well and doing fine. My advice to any one considering doing business with the Oaks is Caveat emptor. My advice is Do your research contact other local facilities Veterinarians and feed stores.
