Heather Davis the nurse practitioner is amazing. She’s kind and caring and listens to what you say and does not seem rushed . With Covid she treated me kindly and professionally. Ty

Nice clean place. Polite receptionist. And about 100 feet to the Palatka Lake Butler Trail. Went for a ride after my appointment.

I feel neglected every time i come here.. they never have alcs.. they don't even contact me and waste my insurance the day of my appointment or atleast a heads up to fast for blood work cause i'm diabetic. i'll be lucky if they even order blood work now adays with how they don't even care about their patients. they sometimes schedule my appointment before my alc anyways for w.e reason probably to waste my insurance. i used to be allowed to do walk ins for my alc if they didn't have any and then out of the blue before 2024 i got this really rude white lady say how we don't do this who said this was ok we see you in a few days anyways if we don't have alc we can do blood work didn't even mention that it requires fasting cause they don't care and she just seemed very angry. front desk was professional and she said it was ok too... just this one lady completely entitled and disgusting and then after i rescheduled my appointment i was not even contacted that my doctor no longer works there not sure if he got in trouble , fired, transferred or quit but dr. colon was my favorite doctor and was extremely kind to me . literally educated me on my health and help me get the proper medications , never talked over me understood how my hormones effect my bloodsugars especially with birth control, like he was a excellent doctor he saved my life cause my blood work showed something was wrong and i had my gallbladder removed on oct 2023 and always kept up with my cholesterol etc ! i was given a new doctor no heads up and i personally didn't like the visit because i been struggling with my bood sugars when i pms or near my period or on it even if i so much have a small carb with protein my sugar been evaluating to 200-300 which is not normal my alc is normally 5.4 or below this time it was 5.9 which is not high but just because my alc is ok don't mean i should be removed completely from a diabetic medication or only be given 1 mg of metformin it just doesn't work that way . my normal levels after each meal is 120-150 completely normal but when ur told 200-300 spikes is normal and how they can't prescribe you a low dosage of insulin incase those emergencies when even 2000mg of metformin doesn't even work then that's an serious issue.. this office needs to really work on communcation and more education . i shouldn't be taking no 2000-2500 mg of metformin to lower blood sugar that won't go down even chugging water and i dont even drink sodasss like without the extra help it actually needs. i had to call front desk today to ask for blood work because my last one was before i even had surgery which is truly sad that i told my new doctor and he didn't order any.... like please work on that shit man i shouldn't have to do your job for you every patient should be given blood work every 3-6 months that have underlying conditions . out of tests should be given a call or a voicemail notice .. if our doctors magically disappears for w.e reason we would like to recieve a call too cause we don't like any randoms as our doctors . if your office lacks commucation don't be rude to your patients. we are humans just like you the least we want is not be neglected by our own doctors who suppose to help us .
