Nothing to do with the photos they publish. Old and shabby rooms. Very weak breakfast. Very bad manners from the staff and especially from the manager Andrea. If you have a problem during your stay they are not able to solve it. I won't come back even for free.

The staff at Dove Creek were very friendly and welcoming! Rose was an absolute delight! She offered top notch service and even escorted us to our rooms. She provided us with everything we needed. Staying at a smaller boutique hotel was a very nice change. We had the pool to ourselves most days - it was very peaceful. The restaurant snappers next door had live music and great food. The rooms had great ocean views and had mini fridges and all the amenities needed. The property was well cared for. The breakfast offered was healthy and plentiful. We enjoyed the fruit and coffee and took some to-go for later. My daughter loved making the waffles and usually went back later for a toasted bagel. They had a lovely veranda so you could enjoy breakfast outside overlooking the water. We could use the microwaves and toasters at any time of day and the pool was always open for late night swims or hot tub use. We used the outdoor veranda by our room for wine time before dinner. We will stay here again! Rooms: Great views! Mini fridge included. Stayed very cool. Safety: We never felt unsafe Food & drinks: Reataurant snappers next door had the best seafood and live music. The breakfast at dove creek was wonderful - very healthy too.

Very disappointing to say the least as we were checked into a storage room that should have been OOO. Only because I booked through Wyndham Rewards did I receive my points back. The manager has dodged me and offered NO assistance at all after we left and ended up spending $1100 at another property last minute as it was a holiday weekend. To my knowledge, we as the guests should have been "walked" to another hotel with availability and paid for by them. I know this because my property is extremely careful and way more put together. "Walking" a guest is not something anyone wants to do but they failed miserably as nobody was even at the property to greet us. Our keys were left in a box outside and a note was at the front desk telling us this. Office hours are until 7pm. We showed up at 6:30pm to nobody there and then found our keys eventually and entered our room. Pictures below are time stamped at 6:54 and 7:01 after taking 15-20 minutes to find keys. To our surprise it was full of boxes and storage and a disgusting bathroom with urine unflushed in the toilet. I tried and tried to speak with someone in the following weeks and was always dodged or was told they would call me back. They never did. It's a shame to the Wyndham name. Where was the "agent" that was supposed to stay until 7pm as the website reads? The manager or agent I did speak with was even curious as to why a note was left saying to find my keys outside in a box well before 7pm. Total let down with no compensation. Shameful in so many ways. I gave multiple opportunities for them to fix this issue. They have decided not to. Wyndham should maybe stop putting their name on everything if they don't want to take responsibility for the absolutely terrible experience. Note to Wyndham: who cares about being the biggest hotel group, try being the best. This could have been avoided had someone actually assisted my girlfriend and I. Now we're just out $1100 with a terrible taste of Wyndham in our mouth. Never again. Adam 12/22/23-12/24/23 Noteworthy details: Try to avoid this place if you don't enjoy headaches.
