    It s a horrible hmo for those on medicare.For two yrs I exhausted my meds by March of each yr only to discover i had been placed int the wrong plan. A lot of literature all fluff and no substance, In comparison to other plans you only get chicken shit from avmed.

    Avmed Never pick up the phone, do not waist a year with this scam provider. Agent does not answer the phone. Can’t wait to change provider.

    Service is Horrible. My policy got canceled by Avmed mistake when i called to disenroll by wife because she got coverage under Medicare. I was enrolled for auto debit and they had my account on file to deduct the new premium but they never did and terminated by coverage for no reason. I have requested to speak to a manager and never got a call back. We are in the middle of a pandemic and i have no insurance because Avmed dropped the ball I have called numerous times and sent multiple emails since June 23, 2021 and my policy is still not reinstated . I called on June 23 and spoke with Christina Fajardo who said would call me back in 48 hours. Never received a call back. I called June 30 and today again and spoke to Gabby who tells me the same thing I was told back in June. I then spoke with Team Leader Eileen Ellis but was unable to help me get my case resolved today after my first call to request reinstatement over 20 days ago This is terrible and horrible service. I would never, ever recommend Avmed to any one, therefore the reason for me writing this review. Customer service wait time is over an hour to get a life person on the phone. This is unconceivable
