My first visit to Michael was a simple request to replace the batteries in my Phillip Stein watch which he did quickly while I waited. A few months later my wife's knuckles had swollen to the point that she could no longer wear her wedding band. We went to see Michael to re-size her ring. After he examined her finger, he suggested a band extender that replaces the solid band with an open band that clasps over the finger without sliding the ring band over her swollen knuckles. We liked the idea because the ring size would stay the same since it clasps around the finger and not over the knuckle. He cut the band, attached the band extender sizing it to her normal finger size and polished it to a like new condition. My wife is extremely happy with Michael's idea and craftsmanship. Her ring looks great and you cannot see that it is an open band with a clasp. Great idea, great work and a great price. Thanks Michael Great job
