Stay away from Richard. He is extremely unorganized , unprofessional , does not answer emails , calls or texts. He takes your case, money , and states he is knowledgeable but then when he is losing he informs you then he is not experienced in the type of law you hired him for. I had to teach him how to use zoom on several occasions for the hearings. He will then drop your case when he is losing claiming you did not follow his instruction when there was no instruction from him as he asked me what to do next. Save your emails, calls and texts with him as they will serve you well when you report him as I have to the Florida Bar. Thank God for good judges that did not allow him to drop my case as he tried without giving me all my documents which took several hearings and to this day I do not have a complete file. The judge had to explain to him what and how to send me my file. Just find someone else ---

Rich was recommended to me by a good friend. I had already spent over 8 thousand dollars on attorney fees and mediation. on a not so good lawyer and an awful mediator. I was over lawyers and broken promises. Rich spoke to me on the phone and listened to what I said. He told me he would have a look at my case and get back to me. He did call me back and advised me of the best way to proceed. I then got to meet him in person and was very personable and highly intelligent. He can work out figures faster in his head than I could on my calculator. He sugar coats absolutely nothing and he did tell me the outcome would not be to my exact liking but he would fight for all I and the children were entitled to I hired him and thank goodness I did. He took all the stress out of the court process. He took my ex-husbands lawyer on in court and had the judge agree to give us time to adequately prepare for trial. He also brought to the judge's attention the financial avadavat was severely properly completed (a fact my ex-lawyer and mediator failed to address) This was extremely important as my ex was deliberately hiding funds and other financials from the court. I trust him to do the absolute best he can do for my children and I. I have already recommended him to many, many people as have my close friends who had to watch me be bullied by the ex-husbands lawyer to sign a settlement which basically gave the children and I nothing Previously I was represented by a local lawyer who promised the earth and drained my retainer and achieved absolutely nothing. He allowed the mediator to bully and harass me for a total of seven hours and for me to be billed for 9 hours. The lawyer then withdrew from my case as all my funds were drained, and I was left to deal with my ex-husbands very aggressive bully of a lawyer and her rude para legal. I had to go to court and represent myself and it was truly horrendous. My trust in lawyers was beyond shattered. The constant stress of preparing my own motions and answering the opposing lawyers' frivolous and litigious non-stop motions caused me to lose my job. Divorce and custody battles are already hard enough don't make it harder by hiring a lawyer who does not have your best interests at heart.
