Love love love this restaurant. There's a short wait after you order, which is quick compared to the delishishness coming out of that kitchen. I give this restaurant 6 stars!!!

I wish I took pictures. The girl at the counter is super nice & easy to talk to ... The fried chicken is good, that's for sure, however melting the Styrofoam container with it, releasing toxic chemicals into the food is a no for me. . Green beans were also good and if you like super sweet stuff,, candied yams and cornbread will be to your liking. But.... the roast meal I got was easily 75% gross chunks of fat. It ruined the meal. The "large fry" was one serving, undercooked. Our mac & cheese was missing. Collards were "mush" according to my husband ....going back to get missing mac (didnt appreciate being treated like I lied or something..not sure why the weird attitude- There was No mac & cheese in our order.!) and bringing the problem with the roast to their attention was not handled well at all. Buying 2 meals & one 8pc combo to split between kids makes it imperative every part is there...it wasnt...and btw, holy garlic salt in the mac! Everything about the tone of voice, what was said and the looks on their faces regarding my issue with the roast were enough to make me never go back.. OF COURSE i want to bring to your attention my $14 meal was ruined by more fat than edible meat. I even said" just so you know" mostly to keep others from the same bad experience.... I asked for nothing. Seriously. I will not go back. SUPER disappointed! all the rave reviews and this is my experience ?! Definitely did not make return customers out of this family. I would have given them another try had things been different when I went back. Big thumbs down for us
