    Niki in the office is great and David is a total professional and he did an outstanding/perfect job installing the framing, the screens, and door for our Lanai. The clear view screen system is awesome. We have received many compliments from our neighbors. We highly recommend Tropical! We can't be any happier! Thank you for a great job.

    had a panel that needed to be replaced from the hurricanes, called and made an appointment. The appointment was set out past 40 days had one reschedule as well. The crew showed up the day of the second appointment hohumed on whether they could do the job due to the height of my enclosure. they left to get more equipment and I had to leave when I returned they had only replaced one panel, left the other one flapping with no notification as to why it wasn't replaced. I called later to and  informed them that they had only replaced one panel. I was told that they were not going to be able to replace that panel. They charge me 420 bucks for the one run. Then sent me an invoice for two panels at $420 completely unprofessional. I do not recommend at all they should be ashamed of themselves. Had to pay another company a fee to change out a 3 x 3 portion right next to the one that they had changed out.

    TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH TROPICAL ENCLOSURES BUYER BEWARE I signed a contract with Tropical Enclosures for a screen enclosure in December 2021. The salesman Steven told me it would take approximately 14-16 weeks to start the job. I told them at that time I would supply the cement footers because they dont do cement work and had to subcontract it to a third party. I had a quote from a cement company for 25% less than Tropical Enclosures had quoted me. Unfortunately, by the end of January, 2022, the cement company backed out of their quote. I spent 2-3 weeks trying to line up someone else to do the footers with no luck, and decided to let Tropical Enclosures do the entire job. On March 4, 2022 I texted salesman Steven to please proceed with the job, including the cement footers. We soon spoke on the phone, and Steven said they would proceed. No issues were raised by Steven. After 2 months of waiting to hear from Steven, I had to call him repeatedly to find him. We finally connected in mid-June, THREE MONTHS AFTER MY GO AHEAD. Steven said the engineering came back wrong. He then called me back a few days later and said the powers that be (Kevin and Scott) refuse to honor the contract because too much time had passed. I was furious because from December to the time in March that I gave them the go ahead was well within the time frame discussed. Nothing was said in March about any issues with the contract. Now after three more months of them doing nothing, they want to cancel the contract. Steven agreed with me that Tropical Enclosures would refund my entire 10 percent deposit, as they were the ones cancelling the contract. About a week after my discussion with Steven, I received a check from Tropical Enclosures but they had withheld approximately one third of my deposit, with no explanation. I called at least a dozen times to talk to the owners, Kevin and/or Scott, but my calls were ignored. No one in the office could give me any explanation. No one called me back. They just kept my money. There is nothing in the contract warning that monies may be withheld from your returned deposit. This is totally unacceptable and unethical. These guys are not to be trusted.     Paid for 2 screened enclosures so my dog could run around the porches. Paid extra for the Super Screen because it is warranted for 10 years. Was informed by Steven during proposal appointment that the screen was recommended since it was for my dog. They did a great job on the enclosures. However, my screens were damaged by a squirrel and they did not return my call and their voicemail says they are not returning service calls. Why sell warranted screens if you dont call back and dont honor the warranty. I am very disappointed in the customer service and their responses to social media. The enclosure quality was good. The customer service and professionalism after they get your money is bad. Therefore, I would recommend going elsewhere that follows through with their warranties and provides reasonable customer service.
