Well here goes. I went to the site to look at purchasing a home saw the model fell in love. Picked a lot placed a deposit had to wait on hubby to see the lot because he was out of town.Got a call there was conflict with the lot as someone else also placed a deposit on the same lot. So we had to pick another lot. The lot we wanted we were told would not be available until October in phase 3 which meant the lots was going to increase. So we chose a corner lot then was told the model we chose could not fit the lot. We changed lots again only to speak to a neighbor who told us to check the back yard because she did not get one. Sure enough, no back yard so we decided to go with a two story lot. We had to change lots again because the 2 story could not go on the lot we had. Then they gave us the measurements of where the house would start and end to see the back yard. Per measurements we would have at least 40 feet of backyard. Once the foundation was done we were not seeing what we were told. We got nervous and eenquired, Ruth said the measurement were accurate but they were not. Then we noticed that the lot we wanted was sold, oh in July, yep not October as previously told by Ruth. There was never a 3rd phase they wanted to sell the lots they had before releasing anymore and the lots sold at the same price. We went to lennar picked our lot, our home, and closed in 30days no issues. I spoke to Kevin Belle regarding all we went through and asked for our deposit back he was very nasty told me that they were stuck with a house I told him we had to walk away from our dream home because of incorrect information and lies. Who goes to a showroom to pick the stuff they want only to find out they can see the neighbors balcony 20ft from them? Ruth had it in for me because I questioned and changed things to often. My hubby is a driver I had to handle everything which did not go over easy..Please keep in mind when buying YOUR DREAM HOME that this is YOUR home they could care less what they tell you to sell to you. I hope 7694 never sells and they loose more than our deposit. KB Homes needs better representation and I am so glad we went with lennar what a difference!
