Kk's African Hair and Wig Braiding

I was going to Jacksonville for the weekend and needed to get my hair braided I found Kk on google, called her on short notice and she was able to accommodate me. She was professional, warm and friendly. The price was reasonable, shop was clean and organize. Overall I was satisfied with her service and the outcome of the style. Thank you KK!

So, when I first started going to KK (11-15-20) I was in love with her work and how beautiful my hair turned out and how well it last. She is very sweet and professional. I NEVER had any issues with my box braids not one problem and it lasted 8 weeks. People were always complimenting on my hair and asking who does my braids. I give them her name and number Johnny on the spot because she does such an amazing job. I even asked her on my last visit Jan 5, 2021, if I could have some of her business cards so that I could hand those out instead of writing her info on a piece of paper that may get lost and she gave me some. On Jan 5, 2021 I had my hair put in to passion twists and they looked great until a few days later they started falling out. I paid $290 for this style with 9 packs of hair included. I texted KK about my hair the very next week with pictures of what was happening to my hair and asked if I could come in on Saturday at 11am to have them looked at and fixed, she said yes since I was already going over to help her with something else. The twists were falling out my hair and the twists looks as though I have had this style for months. I received a text this morning (Sat 1-16-21) stating that she has work to do and that she can't do my hair today and if I could come in on Tuesday morning. I replied no I cannot because I Homeschool my son AND I need my hair fixed asap because I have an important engagement on Sunday that I am going to and need my hair ready for that. I asked if I could at least get half my money back so that I could go to a hair salon and get my hair done for my engagement...she called and tried to explain that something was going on with her salon and that since I had my hair done for weeks (I just got it done Tuesday Jan 5 and texted her that following week ) before I said anything that she would not give me ANY of my money back because that's not how this business works and that when whatever is going on with her shop is complete she would put back the 3 or 4 twists that came out, (they are All falling out and hanging low like they've been in for several weeks or months). I really loved going to KK and was really looking forward to finally finding my forever Braiding Stylist. I wasn't trying to come off in a bad way, but I don't have money that grows on trees and $290 is a lot of money for a style that only lasted a week. It's not like I waited until the last minute or several weeks later. By the time she gets around to fixing my hair it would have have been 2 weeks into having it done. Am I wrong for how I feel about this and for asking for at least half of my money back? BTW I am a licensed beauty and hair professional and I don't/didn't conduct business this way with my clients. See pictures includes our texts. I really liked going to KK, she's the best braiding stylist I've come across in a long time and her shop is clean and inviting. I just don't understand what happened.
