If u can step down on your own. These people are awful and take your money. The therapists talk to your family behind your back and feed you awful medication that dopes you up. This place is a disgrace. Do not go here.

Stepping Stone is kept clean and is cleaned daily. The food is great and the staff is really nice. groups are very helpful. The nurses are very nice and professional and make you feel welcomed even if you have been there before. The call center is not completely honest and try to do whatever they can to get you there as soon as possible. Overall the place is very nice and comfortable. I just wish they had the option to keep one person per room if you dont feel comfortable sharing a room with a random person youve never met. during the first few days of quarantine they should get more ipads so that each patient has their own considering how much money the place makes.

I attended stepping stone in july of 2021. I was beyond satisfied with the facilities as well as the staff. I would recommend stepping stone to any one seeking recovery.

I have a lot of reasons to post this review, but I will start with a few that come to mind. The a/c was out for two nights. A girl named Ann, that was also staying at the facility at the time, had to ask for the director to be called at almost 11pm (the time you’re asked to be in bed at stepping stone) . Keep in mind, on that second day, it stopped working at 1:30pm, was complained about and no one made it a priority. (The 2nd night was when the director was called because it was demanded by Ann that she be called that night)We told them we wouldn’t sleep in the sleeping headquarters at 80 degrees) You cannot sleep in Florida with it 80 degrees inside. The minute she was called it was fixed before 11:30pm. Not only this, but they DO NOT & WOULD NOT prioritize medicine for people with seizures. I have them personally & had to advocate for myself to even get on the right medications. Medicine was left out on the counter multiple times, and incorrect medications were given not only to me, but to another patient as well. Shonda, my main therapist, did not come and get me for counseling one day the whole time I was there & when I asked to see her I had to sit outside her door until she came out of her office. She then proceeds to tell me I can’t wait outside her door, because she has other patients to see and it’s not confidential with me sitting in a chair that was naturally there outside her door. This was after telling her I have earring lost in both my ears and I could not hear her if she was saying anything through the door & left a note for her under her door( whole time she pretended not to be in her office) . I highly recommend advocating for yourself and triple checking anything this place does.

Thanks to stepping stones and their staff I am sober and enjoying life. Stepping stones gave me the foundation to go back out into the world and enjoy a full life like I never imagined! I am beyond grateful for stepping stones and their recovery team for helping me and giving me the tools to be successful in my recovery!
