We ordered steamed crabs which were very good! I then ordered the crabcake which was not good at all ! (Had a vinegary aftertaste). We are from Baltimore & were very disappointed ...

From Maryland one appreciates good crab cakes and Old Bay fries. It's like being back home but even better!!! When I'm not in the mood for Crab cakes or Crab balls, I love their fried chicken. Never had a bad meal. Glad you moved from O.C. Maryland - their loss is our gain!

0 stars not 1..Worst experience ever! I never write reviews but I just have to this time. My friend and I split the crab stuffed ravioli, the shrimp and grits and the stuffed eggplant boat. The ravioli was OK but it did not come with the spinach. Instead it had the vegetable medley on top (which was the best tasting of everything). The cheese sauce tasted like canned cheese with extra seasonings. The shrimp was good but the grits tasted like a potatoe mix was added and the sauce was..well not sure. The eggplant was fried which could have been good but it was piled with packaged crabmeat, shrimp that tasted funny, canned mushrooms and tasteless crawfish. We couldn't even eat it. The same with the krim brulea. One bite. The sugar topping was good but the custard under it tasted processed. We didn't even get our garlic mashed potatoes or grilled asparagus. As we were making our complaints we were told it was the waitress's fault..that the veggie and starch was not supposed to come with our dinner. It says so on the menu and the waitress verified it. So all in all the "bar manager" listened to our complaints and then brought out the cook. I complimented him on trying to turn the processed foods into something better but he said he makes everything himself. I would only believe that if I saw it. There is no mistaking canned or processed foods. He thanked me and said he can not make improvements without customers opinions?!? Then the manager tried to say that I had eaten almost all of the dinner. I reminder her that was my half, the other half was taken away. So..we eventually got the check with only a 10% discount and thank you written on it!! We shouldnt have paid the $50 with not even eating half of the food but we did and left..only to have the waitress chase us down in the parking lot saying we were .72 cents short and we didn't leave her a tip and she was going to have to pay the .72 out of her pocket. We gave her a $1. She thanked us for the .25 tip and yelled out "this is bullshit" as she was going back in. WOW!!!!! You know that feeling you get when you go to a new restaurant?? Excited and hungry? What a BIG disappointment!!! I won't be going anywhere new for a while.
