I love First Avenue Montessori. My daughter has thrived in this nurturing environment. She has become more independent and more confident. She is more than ready for kindergarten both academically and socially. She has become a leader. Thank you Mary!

We have been so pleased with this sweet, little Montessori preschool. Our daughter attended VPK in Ms. Mary's class for the 2015-2016 school year and our son for the 2016-2017 year. Both children will leave 1st Avenue fully prepared for Kindergarten and very excited about science, books and reading. We love the traditional Montessori style and the unique and personal way Ms. Mary and her assistant, Ms. Tanya, connect with their students.
Each afternoon at pick-up, the children are usually always working independently, or with a partner and the environment is very peaceful and calm, not at all what you would expect from a typical preschool. Having them in such a small school has allowed them to connect with other students and build sweet friendships over the course of the school year.
We will certainly miss 1st Ave, the teachers and classmates next year.
