Island Doctors

Thought just because I moved to a rural area I could still get good medical care through Humana…boy was I wrong. Nurses at this office seem to have little to no training and their previous employment was most likely at the circle K across the street…no offense to convenience store. Dr Nunez talks about roosters running wild in his home Country and little oversight to the condescending nature of the staff. If you live in the area plan to head to Gainsville for professional medical services.

New Insurance/New Providers; always a little concerned when switching doctors..but turned out Great. Found all of the office staff pleasant, responsive & efficient. Shannon Pollard, was thorough, professional and listened to my concerns/reports. Following the appointment they have been very responsive to follow-ups and referrals, etc. Keep in mind Providers are sometimes bound by Insurer guidelines as well. I"m happy with my experience at this practice thus far.

With the current staff on hand this group has been quite pleasent to work with. I look forward to helping this practice maintain the patients needs for medical equipment/ copd management.
