For months my mother has been trying to get her denture fitting, x-rays, prepping for her new dentures. Covid-19 hit the world. Dr McCabe's office was closed on the verge of my mother having her last fitting. By the time we got a hold of him, he suggested we pay the dentures before he puts them on. With this unreliable office, I told them we get to see them first and will pay half until the finally fitting to pay in full. They had us go to another office in Fleming Island which told us they would not honor anything and would have to start ALL OVER AGAIN.

They really helped my periodontal disease recede considerably! I could see the gums getting stronger and healthier before my eyes...my mother had the same treatment (perio trays), and I saw her teeth and gums get better and better. Don’t fall for the traps of other dentists saying you need serious “quadrant cleaning” when it could be a simple fix, which requires more work from the patient, but much better in the long run. And all those scary financial consultants you have to meet with when you were probably set up to need that from the get-go by an untrustworthy dentist. Dr. McCabe really changed things around for me and I’m forever grateful...thank you!

We just got back from here. Had to drive here for an hour to find out the price for the deep cleaning for my mom that they wanted to do because they wouldn’t answer their phone. We’ve been trying to call them ever since 10 am this morning just to find out the price. Some guy named Anthony would answer and then hang up. Or they would answer the phone and leave it off the dial so you won’t be able to call back. Anyway, when I got there the receptionist Barbara was at the desk. I told her I’ve been trying to call since 10am and she cut me off and said her internet and phone has been down all day. So I told her well if it’s been down how did Anthony answer the phone and then hang up. She acted all surprised and said she doesn’t know how that happened and that she’s sorry. She made us wait 20 min, which is fine, to tell us the price for deep cleaning. I told her that’s all I wanted to know and that we won’t be doing this procedure here today or ever coming back again. She apologized again and said “you know things get old and they die” referring to her phone and computer and why the phone was not being answered. And I said well again, that’s weird because Anthony answered 3 times and he said hang on and then hung up. And then she said well yea that’s when it dies when we answer. On top of that the waiting room is tiny and extremely dirty. If the customer service is this bad, i don’t even want to know how bad the dentist is. I’m glad I read all the reviews here with similar experiences before I let my mom get treated here.

The absolute worst dental experience of my life! I should have known when the guy on the phone making the appointments took over 30 minutes to book myself and children. That alone was painful, listening to his long drawn out ummmmmm's over and over. Fast forward to the appointment, wait over an hour in a dirty waiting room. I was being patient since there were 5 of us but it was taking a long time. Then we go back and the hygienists seemed unfamiliar with the equipment, fumbling around uncomfortably. Honestly I doubt they are licensed!! They take xrays the old fashioned way with the bite down film, 18 times to get the whole mouth; after that all they did was the polishing part of the cleaning. The dentist comes by, without looking at my mouth WHATSOEVER and diagnoses me with periodontal gum disease. That is an out of pocket special cleaning insurance doesn't cover. Funny thing, I go to the dentist regularly and have never been told anything other than what great oral hygiene I have. Additionally, my kids teeth were never cleaned either. Only polished and given flouride treatments. This is why I believe they are unlicensed, nobody is getting a cleaning! They are running an insurance scam!!
