Lori is an exceptionally inviting host. She has a very simple and respectful set of rules to follow, that are aimed towards keeping her place as clean and quiet as possible. I've seen no bugs or anything that made me question sanitation in my room and thats a huge deal to me. She will bend over backwards for you, and is not afraid to obtain order when it needs to be, so I haven't really experienced annoying neighbors. I will definitely come back to a place where I can rely on peace and quiet in this cozy little hide-a-way.

Rivers edge reminds me of something that Norman Rockwell would paint. It's peaceful, it has affordable rates , to say the least it's heaven on earth. The dock is a bonus!!! Fishing is great! Miss Lori is a sweet lady, she is more than fair, she works with you on any issue. I would recommend Rivers edge to anyone who wants to escape the hustle & stress of everyday life!

I'm in love with this cute quaint motel, took me 6 months to get in here. The rooms are gorgeous for a older motel. The greenery, landscaping is Amazing. Lori is a Godsend. She took care of every need I had in my room.Highly recommend this Motel. Very comfortable,very homey. Her dogs are the sweetest. I am so thankful, blessed I found this Room and Lori. She's on top of everything daily. Don't skip a beat on anything going on. Repairs as soon as I report it to her. Just a Blessed Girl here.

My husband and I went to this place and was told we can have a room and to leave a deposit of 425 dollars to secure a room. We did and we paid for this two weeks before it was time for us to move in as we sold our house and needed a place for a few months. As the time for us to move in we were told that Lori the manager had to replace things in the room because of black mold and we could not move until it was cleaned and painted. We waited two more weeks and it was ready but when we looked at the room it smelled and we were told she had a bigger room for a little more money. We said yes that would be great. As the time to move in came we were told that the bathroom was leaking and everything had to be replaced. So we stayed at another motel anther month with Lori saying that the plumber works at his own pace and it's not ready yet. Then a week later she said I have COVID and you can't get the room because she is sick. Well now it's the inspector that she is waiting for and it's been almost Two months and we said we want our deposit back as we are moving out of the state. She said ok I have to go to the bank and get the money. We gave her four days to get it done and she agreed. We went there yesterday and she wasn't there. We have asked her for our money back and now she says that because we bothered her she wants to send it by mail. We showed her that she is committing fraud Theft by fraud.. By promising goods and or services and not delivering . She had us go down the street to another motel and offered to pay a few days while we were waiting for the room. We stayed at the Pelican Lodge and the air didn't work the bathroom toilet was broken and the sink was leaking underneath. We left there and she is complaining she paid for us for a week but as you know Florida weather is very hot and humid and we were miserable. We left because of our health. Well we have spent thousands of dollars waiting for Lori to give us a room she didn't plan on giving us. I would run from there and stay somewhere else. Lori cannot be trusted.
