Doggie Spot

My dogs love it at the Doggie Spot, and the staff have been nothing but great. I think some of the negative reviews below are a reflections of unrealistic expectation of what a dog daycare is. Firstly, they are DOGS, so yes if they play with each other they get dirty. I also really don't think dogs care if the play room is made of concrete. What my dogs do love is being able to romp around all day and play with staff members who are all clearly dog lovers. They are always excited to arrive at the Doggie Spot.

Really nice and friendly people. Are wiling to work with dogs of different breeds/temperaments unlike chains like Petsmart. Great place.

My dog was exhausted and so happy after her stay at the Doggie Spot! I love that they post photos their Facebook so you can see how much fun your pup is having. The staff is very friendly and the facility seems to be great. The grooming services were great for my pooch! I highly recommend this establishment :)

We have taken our corgi (Gizmo) to the Doggie Spot for a couple of years now and we have no complaints whatsoever. I like that they have enough space both inside and outside to let the dogs interact and run around. They have a great blog where they post pictures of your dogs so you can see what kind of fun they're having. The staff is very nice and always excited to see each dog, treating them as if they were their own. We usually take Gizmo for half-day daycare and he is always happy and tired out whenever we pick him up, so I would definitely recommend the Doggie Spot.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!! The first time I took my dog to The Doggie Spot I realized too late that she would be spending most of 24 hours in a pen too small to run around in, and would be kept in a concrete room that loudly echoed the sound of dogs constantly barking. When I picked her up she had two large cuts on her face that appeared to be from another dog sinking its jaw around her entire face. Then unfortunately I had to bring her back a second time because it was the only place that could take her last minute (I now know why). She peed on her bed in the middle of the night (which she has NEVER DONE--not even as a puppy). It was disgusting, and still soaked in urine. They didn't even bother to rinse it off! If you care about your dog's comfort and safety whatsoever don't take your dog here. The Doggie Spot is a cold, unwelcoming prison and my dog would've been better off left alone in the backyard.
