Great service and great deals! I am a UF student and found a really good mattress for an awesome price at Mattress Town. I found them online and their website was very helpful. I especially thought the section "How to Choose a Mattress" was the most helpful. After researching Mattress Town online, I decided to go in the store to look around. The employees were very nice and helped me pick out the mattress that was best for me. I highly recommend these guys, especially if you're a student, because they'll give you a really good deal.

The owner's a jerk. Offered a mattress for $300 with tax included, so I kindly ask to look around at some other mattress stores first before deciding to buy. An hour later after looking at another mattress store I come back to buy the mattress for $300, but the jerk spontaneously raises the price by $50 saying "came back huh? I'm the boss here and the mattress is $350 not including tax now". Underneath all that nice decor and their fake cheerful sales pitch, these guys are complete jerks and only care about your money. Needless to say I walked out the door right there and then. If you have even a little bit of pride and decency, don't buy from these cutthroats.

I purchased a tempurpedic mattress from Mattress Town several months ago. A few months passed, and I decided the mattress was much too hot for me to keep. I returned to Mattress Town, and they explained that they could unfortunately not take it back and refund my money (understandably, it was past the 30-day trial period, and they could not resell the mattress). The owner told me that if I wanted to return to Mattress Town after I sold my tempurpedic that he would cut me a deal on another mattress. I finally sold my tempurpedic, and returned to Mattress Town. I found another traditional mattress that I absolutely love! I told the salesman about the owner's promise to me, and Mattress Town kept good on their word. The new mattress I wanted (with boxspring, frame) was close to $1,000. The salesman was able to give me a discount, and a different, less expensive boxspring, and I ended up only paying around $550; this includes delivery, tax, boxspring, and frame!!! Talk about customer service! I'm recommending Mattress Town to everyone I know! I've looked at other places, and you just won't find the same great prices and customer service!

Our youngest son was moving from the UF dorms to his own apartment. My husband and I thoroughly researched the Gainesville market weeks in advance ( we are from South Florida) and actually considered two other places in Gainesville, Sleep Center and American Docks ( or freight?) . Sleep center was professional but had very little for a student budget, Mattress Town were equally professional and honest but had an amazing sale specifically for students! ( they said they have had the sale for years every summer). The other Freight place were sharks. Three of my sons friends purchased from MattressTown as well over the past two weeks, I can't speak for them, but I can say they agreed with us, Mattress Town seems to be the absolute best choice for students that's for certain.

I came to Mattress Town after visiting Wayne's Bedding and Call-A-Mattress (where I had a HORRIBLE experience). Mattress Town was very nice. The sales people were friendly, knowledgable, but also kept their distance so I didn't feel pressured or followed. They answered my questions and let me wander around the store from bed to bed uninterrupted while I shopped. There was also a wide selection of brands and feels (soft/medium/hard), so I had a lot to test and compare. Because of this, I felt I made the best decision for me and my needs. I finally decied on a Serta pillow-top mattress. They immediately knocked off some of the price because I was a student and then knocked off more because I didn't need the bed frame things. They also offered free, same-day delivery and gave me and my sister (who was pregnant) a little Serta stuffed animal sheep. I LOVE my mattress and love that I got it at a decent price. I feel it's great quality for what I paid. I highly recomment Mattress Town because they don't play sales games or try to talk you into something about which you're unsure. They just let you shop. And the price is great for the quality. They made me feel un-pressured and comfortable, plus they were decently priced and had what I wanted. AND, unlike Call-A-Mattress, they actually had their mattresses on beds, so none of that lying-on-the-ground business to try to test a mattress!
