The Gainesville Sears store is still open, but has been in liquidation mode for over a month. Most of the good tool dept stuff has been gone for weeks.
Some of the remaining tools are still available on regular promotions at the Kennesaw Town Center Mall store, but with return and exchange privileges and SYWR points, too.
When shopping the Gainesville store closing sale, leave your wallet in your car so you'll avoid the impulse to grab a false bargain. Bear in mind that a missing or broken part could cost more than the discount on the whole product.
Unless you are local, it's not worth the trip to Gainesville to check out the sales as you're at least a month late.

Can't exchange several pairs of pants because they were a gift and I wasn't given a receipt. Never heard of such a policy. I will never shop at Sears again. Called customer service and he was a snot then put me on hold till I hung up after 15 mins..
