Their mechanic came and looked at our 35hp sailboat diesel. Said they would provide an estimate. They have not answered my email from 3 days ago and they do not answer their phone. Only reason for two stars instead of one: the mechanic seemed quite competent and did a detailed visual inspection of the motor including numerous photos. I'm still hoping they will come around and provide good service.

I have tried for over two weeks to get someone from Shearwater to call me back. I need haul out and running gear service (props, shafts, bearings, etc) on a large motor yacht, but apparently they are so busy that they do not have time to return a phone call. I have called and left messages with my phone and email address with 2 different office staff, and have sent emails to 2 different service managers from their web site. Zero response at all with over 2 weeks of trying to get in touch means my yacht and my business go elsewhere. What a total disappointment. Where will you find customers when business slows down (and it will)?
