Smith Marine is Awesome, I had a Minn Kota Talon go bad so I looked online and seen good reviews about smith marine so I called and dropped off my talon same day on Tuesday well Friday I was only calling to check and see when they would have time to get to my talon for the repair and to my surprise they had repaired it and had it ready for pick up. The fastest service I have seen in a long time also they are very professional and friendly when u arrive dont be discouraged when u see there work load most items there was waiting parts but if they have the parts to fix your item they definitely will fix it ASAP. DONT take your trolling motor here, I dropped my trolling motor off on a Thursday and was told they would look at it the following Monday. I called them on Tuesday and they hadnt looked at it, I called again the next Monday, still hadnt looked at it and called the next two Monday and still hadnt looked at it after a month. I usually had to call several times to get them to answer the phone. I told a friend and he said never take it to smiths, wellll, too late for that but he did say get it and take it to Abels marine in Port Charlotte. I went in to get my trolling motor and it took two guys 20 minutes just to find it amongst the 50+ motors they had stacked waiting for service. I took it up to Abels Marine and it was done in a week!
