Very unpleasant experience with staff while trying to sell a few U.S. Mint Proof Coin set. Felt like they were pressuring me to sell items I didn't want to sell. Felt like they were trying to take advantage of me someway. The employee was argumentative... Not easy to do business with. Found another coin dealer in the area that was happy to buy the coin sets I wanted to sell. Didn't pressure me into selling the ones I wanted to keep. Even offered to buy them when I was ready to sell. I've sold coins to this company before. I think it was directly with the owner. That experience was much better, than the experience I got with their employee today.

The first red flag was the other reviews on Google and other websites. The second red flag was when I went in to give them a non-refundable deposit on a custom ring and they were reluctant to put what we had verbally agreed to on paper before giving them a deposit. They said they would get me paperwork the next day if I put down the deposit. Remembering other reviews I had seen on the good old interwebs I thought I better not and I should wait to get everything in writing before giving a deposit. So after they gave me the run around for 2 days it was a good thing I waited because when they finally had something on paper for me it was now over $800 more than what we had verbally agreed to for the exact same stones and ring that we had been discussing for 2 weeks. The only thing they had to say was, “Well I can’t do that price on that stone”. All I could think was, well then why didn't you just tell me up front? It would have saved the both of us a lot of time. Oh yeah, that's right you were trying to pull a fast one. I was so furious that they strung me along, wasted weeks of my time to get this ring on my amazing girlfriend’s finger, and lied straight to my face that all I could do is walk out. Don’t let this happen to you. Save your time and just go to one of the many other jewelers in town.

Years ago I tried to enter this store during its open operating hours and I could not because it was locked? I looked inside the store, and some dark haired man (presumably the owner) was staring at me with a confused and irritated look on his face almost as if he was saying "why would YOU need to be in here?" So I shrugged my shoulders and started to leave when suddenly I heard a buzzing sound. The manager pressed a button and unlocked the door remotely. Well, against my better judgement, I proceeded to enter the store and I immediately felt as if I was a criminal for even being there as most of the employees stopped what they were doing and were just staring at me, waiting for me to state my business. Well, I said I wanted to buy some silver bars and they directed me to some old man across the store. The old man was crotchety and rude, and he charged me a premium price for old tarnished silver bars when what I really wanted were new ones. However, I was so nervous from the treatment I was receiving, that I just paid for the bars and left. Another time I came in to see if they would be so kind as to test a gold necklace I found to see if it was actual gold. If it had turned out to be real gold, then perhaps I would have sold it to them. That would be good right? Because then they could sell it for a profit right? Anyway, I walked in and asked a woman at the counter if she could test it and she literally shouted at me "I am with a customer!!!". Immediately, everyone in the store turned around and stared at me like I was some kind of criminal. I was mortified, but I kept my cool as best I could and asked another younger woman who was much friendlier and cooperative right next to the first woman if she could help me. Suddenly, the older woman picked up the necklace, read the 18k gold stamp and declared that it was "real gold". I said that it could still be fake, and that the only way to know for sure was to chemically test it". Luckily for me, the younger woman was kind enough to chemically test it for me, and we found out that it was in fact a fake necklace. I thanked the younger woman for what she had done, but it was clear that the older woman did not want me in the store and considered me a nuisance. Well, I got the picture. They didn't want me there, so I left and never returned. My advice, if you want friendly service, then STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! because for the most part, you will not get it here.
