Leopardi's Italian Restaurant

Was able to write a great review a year ago. Took friends there this week, to the rooftop bar for drinks and dinner: another new menu - terrible food, smallest clams and scallops I've ever seen. Both meals ordered by our friends. I was mortified. Manager said must have been "bottom of the bag". Menu says hand breaded. Waited 30 min. for food. Service from the two Tammy's wonderful! Still had to pay for their terrible meals. Owner having dinner nerds downstairs - wanted to go in there and tell him right then!

I was apprehensive when I read the negative reviews but now I can honestly say that everything was fabulous. Great service. Delicious food. Large portions. And spend the extra $3 and opt for the lobster bisque. Believe me, it's as good as my husband's without the prep. I had a piece of lobster in every spoonful. So don't fear, definitely come and come hungry! And park as close as you can because the walk to your car on a full pasta belly was grueling.
