I stayed at the Bahia Mar hotel and this was a good and close alternative for getting a decent price snack. They have the best homemade ice cream I've tasted in a while.

I normally don't ever give one stars, but based on a few issues with my experience I can clearly explain why you should simply avoid this place. First service is number one in my opinion. If the food is great and poor experience that forces me to drop a star right away. The service here was par. The woman running the deli was ok, but the cooks had some issues. We ordered 3 sandwiches and it took about 20 minutes to get our order. The cooks were also not following basic kitchen guidelines. They were walking in and out of the area and never washing their hands and saw multiple times eating food near the griddle. Next reason for the low star rating was how the food tasted. Well for sandwiches they were ok. We ordered an Italian, roasted chicken and grilled cheese. The Italian was supposed to have fresh basil and they put in romaine lettuce. For me this is a big difference. Don't advertise such vegetables in a sandwich and expect someone to not notice. Next my wife clearly ordered a sandwich with no cheese. They put in cheese and forgot to dress the sandwich with honey mustard. The grill cheese was hard to screw up, but I think they slightly burned the toast. Last reason is price. Any sandwich shop charging over their competitors like Jimmy John's the sandwich should be clearly better. Obviously not the case and our bill came out to about $28! Save your time and money and walk to Jimmy John's or even have them deliver right to you. I added a picture with the Italian that had romaine lettuce instead of basil.
