I would never go to any other postal office to drop off a package! Ive never had an issue and none of my packages have ever been lost! They always have a supply of free boxes to use for shipping but sometimes theres a pretty long wait. This is my experience with DROPPING OFF PACKAGES (they even have a bin to toss it into instead of waiting in the line)

I come to this office probably 3-4 a week and every time I go I always leave with a smile. The staff is always in a great mode and willing to help. It is my preferred USPS for sure!

I understand why this post office has such poor reviews. I was told I couldnt ship something because it would blow up the entire plane (her words). So I had to open my package and take out a 1 oz bottle. I had to borrow tape to repackage my box. When I returned the tape, the employee says I did not hand that tape to you that way. I asked, Can you fold the tape back over? Again she says, I did not hand that tape to you that way. I do not complain about it all of the customers do. So I took the tape and folder it over. Neither of the older ladies there have very good customer service and should not be working in a position that requires them to deal with the public. Next time I will travel out of my way if I need to ship a package.
