Daniel is always so good with my kids. This year we went the day before school, so it was very busy. But he was patient and made them feel at ease!

Would give negative stars if possible. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THIS DENTIST. By far, the worst experience we have had with a dentist. (FOR DR. CHRISTIAN THOMAS) Came in February 11th at 1 pm. We were the only one in the office then so we were seen quickly. This was the first time our daughter would be worked on here by Dr. Christian Thomas. He came in and asked if I had any questions, but I had already asked his dental assistant everything that I needed to know so he went ahead and got started. He numbed her up, she did good, didnt flinch or cry. She does really well anyways, so I wasnt worried. He let the meds kick in maybe for 2-3 minutes and then showed her the tool that he would use to clean the cavity, explaining that it would be cold, but she shouldnt feel pain. If she did, she could raise her hand. He started and a minute in I saw her flinch back, like maybe she felt something. I asked her, Did you feel that? Does it hurt at all? She nodded yes. I told her, if it hurts she needs to raise her hand. She started to kinda raise her hand and then Dr. Thomas abruptly stops and looks at me and snaps, clearly annoyed, and rude, Do you want me to stop? I was a little taken back, I said, I dont know, is that normal? He didnt even respond to my question. Instead, he snapped back, I dont want you to talk while Im working! I couldnt even believe it. Shocked, I said, Im her mother! He said, Ok, so you want to stop then. So, I said, Yeah, we are done here. He said, Ok, do you want me to put in a temporary filling then? I told him, Yeah, of course, I dont want her leaving with a bigger hole! He made me wait to discuss his bedside manner until after he was done putting in the temporary filling. I gave him my opinions on how un professional he is, and how he may be a great dentist, but unfortunately his lack of compassion and care/respect for his patients negates that. It is completely mind blowing to me that a dentist, 1) would not even bother to ask simple questions like, What does it feel like? Can we proceed, and if it hurts then let me know ok? Or, maybe we need to wait longer for the medicine to kick in more, lets try that if your really uncomfortable. I mean, even my own dentist doesnt ignore me like that so why is it ok for a dentist to do that to a child!? And, 2) parents ARE the voice for our children because they dont always want to speak up, especially my daughter, who is really shy about talking to people. Bottom line, I am paying you to do a service and its not acceptable to treat us as if we are inconveniencing you. If that is the attitude then you shouldnt be practicing dentistry, and especially not on children, where you need even more compassion. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO DR. CHRISTIAN THOMAS.
